2. Hammurabi's Ordeal was a painful even deadly test of gilt or innocence. This law was in affect when someone was accuse of committing a crime. Their tongues would be burnt and examined by the Mobashi. Only the Mobashi can tell if the person is guilty or innocent. The Ordeal is still practice in some tribes.
